My son turned 2 in November and pretty much right at 2 he started his 2 year sleep regression, separation anxiety, whining phase. We are working through a lot of that but I don’t know how to get him to stop hitting his face when upset. It happens a lot in the car when I can’t reach him to stop him. He’s not hurting himself it’s very light and clearly out of frustration but I want to help him get past this. It’s increasing and happens nearly every time he is told no (or even not yet like in the car when he says he wants something at home and I say he can have it when we get there). Advice?
