Okay y’all, I’m beyond frustrated. I’m a heavy girl with some definite melons. Because of this and a serious lack of knowledge on the subject, I have never....NEVER... had a bra that actually fits me. I’ve recently ordered four bras from lane Bryant all in different styles and none of them fit. The straps always have a gap where they don’t lay flat against my chest, I am almost always spilling out of my cups even when I moved up to a DDD, the back is always riding up even after I loosen the straps, and my straps will never ever stay on my shoulders. I’m a preschool teacher and I’m so tired of having to try to sneak off during a learning activity or playing with my kids to go and try to discreetly shove my hands into my shirt to reach down my sleeves and pull those tiresome straps back up. I swear it’s every ten minutes. I’ve gone to Lane Bryant and asked to be fitted, and to have help finding the right size. They take measurements and then that’s it, they don’t help you or explain how a bra is supposed to fit, and I’ve never experienced a fitting bra to know the difference, but something has got to give! Someone help me!!!!
