What do you think my chances are and when should I test?

What do you think is the earliest day that I could test and what are my odds of getting g pregnant this cycle? This is my husbands and mine first month trying to conceive and he is convinced that it will happen this month but I am a little more skeptical. However I’m going crazy waiting to test

Best to test when your late!!!
But if you can't wait I wouldn't test before the 14th. 
Implantation can Happen As late as 12dpo and still need time to show a positive

Listen, a lot of people might suggest first response test. I would just wait until you actually missed your period. If you get a negative on a FR test, it doesn't mean you're out for that month. So you will likely test again a few days later (and maybe another time) until you get your period or a positive result. A lot of dissapointment and a waste of money for nothing.
