naproxen works great for me, It’s designed as a muscle relaxer(great for cramps) and is the main ingredient in Midol. If you find yourself having to take more than the directions say, I had to, see a doctor to get an actual prescription for a higher dosage. Also hot baths and heating pads helped me a lot. there is also a pressure point around 3 finger widths below your belly button that you can apply pressure to to relieve cramping. Good luck. I used to pass out and even throw up sometimes so I know how much periods can suck.
