Yesterday my MIL almost dipped my 6 month old daughters binky in some unpasteurized honey to stop her from crying! Thank God I was there to stop her. Unpasteurized honey can kill a baby. I love my MIL but over the years I have noticed she’s a little uneducated in a lot of things. It scares me. Whenever she would take my son who is 7 to her place she would never use his car seat, right from age 5 and onward. He would tell me later on that he got to sit up front in her car. You have to drive down a busy 2 way highway to get to her house. She even asked me if it was okay if she left my son home alone at her place for a few hours while she went to work 😨. Is it wrong of me to feel uncomfortable leaving my little ones with her? I’m worried something bad could happen to them. She also has 2 very big dogs that are not used to kids.
