Dogs knowing?

So tonight I stopped at my mom's house. Their dog (13 yrs old) was, as usual, excited to see me.

But he was In a panic when I sat on the couch. He literally smelled me from head to toe 😶 when he got onto the couch and smelled my entire face and hair for a good minute straight and whined while doing so. This is NOT his normal behavior. He's never whined at me like that except for the first time I'd seen him in 7 yrs when we moved here.

I actually ovulated on my own (rare) a week ago.

Anyone else have weird dog stories?

With my loss my dogs followed me around and stared at me constantly but that was all 🤷
