curling edges? knitting

I'm currently knitting a cowl, and the edges are curling in really bad, how do I fix this? it's not the same stitch the whole time? idk how to describe it... one side is flat the other is not...

Blocking will also fix a lot of that! :) at the end when you're done, look up simple blocking videos. Blocking is magical.

Curling happens when you knit in stockinette. Adding a garter border or intentionally dropping a stitch at the ends helps.

Try knitting loose not so tight, i had the same problem when i was learning. It takes time but it will get better.
