Pack and play & crib?

I recently got a pack and play that comes with a bassinet, is it worth investing in getting a crib?

Pack N Plays aren’t very comfortable at all. I used one with my first and it just wasn’t ideal so we ended up buying a crib.

My son slept in his bassinet attachment until he could stand up by himself and now . Now I use the pac n play as a play pen

It's plenty comfy... babbies need a hard surface to sleep on.

My twin toddlers slept in a pack play from 4 months old until about 18 months when we got them toddler beds! They just crawled right out of the cribs we tried! Works for us lol

Pack n plays usually only support a specific weight. I’m using a pack n play with a bassinet attachment next to my bed, but only for the first six weeks or so. Then I’ll transition to the crib in the nursery. Just check weight requirements. It’s ultimately up to you, as long as you follow the safety features. But I would recommend a crib as well for long term us. The crib I bought particularly converts into a toddler bed and a full sized bed as well. So essentially it’s a long term investment that’ll last my child to at least his teenage years. I’d say that makes the extra purchase worth it.

I don’t think so. My daughter is 13 months and a big baby and she’s in her pack n play no crib.

My daughter is 5 months old & has only slept in her pack n play so far! She has a crib in her bedroom but I’m not even close to being ready to moving her over there so I’d say eventually it will be worth it but it’s definitely something you can wait on if you want/need to!

My son hated his pack and play. It was too hard. I got him a crib that converts to a toddler and full size bed
