how to properly wash down there ?

i’ve recently felt like my vigina smell was a little off , but i’m not sure how to take care of it the right way. i know your not supposed to put anything inside the vigina , but can u wash under / inside the lip folds with normal body wash or baby soap to help clean it or no ? i want to buy a wash that’s just meant for your vigina , but i’m 16 and my mom knows i have a bf so shes gonna think i want all this vigina cleaning stuff bc i’m having sex and stuff like... I AMMM BUT I DONT WANT HER TO KNOW LOL😭and now i’m becoming more self conscious bc i do have a bf and i dont feel want him to think i smell bad when he goes down or fingers me. but then i also heard those vigina washes aren’t good for ur ph balance like vagisil . what do you recommend i use ? preferably something that’s discreet

Wash your outside lips with an unscented moisturizing soap like dove (where the hair grows). If you have a sweat problem, you can use a mild bacterial soap there. 

Wash inside your lips, in the folds, under your clitoris hood and around your clitoris with clean water and your fingers. Make sure you remove any buildup of discharge by rubbing it away with your finger.

Your vagina (the hole inside your body) cleans itself. That is partly where discharge comes from - it is your vagina secreting fluid to clean your vagina and push out dirt and germs.

The fluids inside your vagina is acidic to kill any germs entering. This is often why the crotch of cheaper colored panties have bleach marks and why your fluids tastes sour.

Always dry yourself well between your legs when you are wet. You can pat yourself dry there to prevent bacteria from your anus being wiped into your lips. Don’t sit around in sweaty panties after exercising or wet swimming costume bottoms after swimming.

Wear cotton panties that wicks away wetness and dries quickly. Wear loose fitting pants or skirts/dresses as much as possible.

Sleep without panties if it is safe to do so to allow your area to keep dry and airy.

On the toilet, always wipe from the front to the back to prevent bacteria from your anus to be wiped into your vulva.

I use regular sensitive skin unscented soap for around that area, but never close to the opening. I just use water for that area, around the lips and for the back. And then i use a good smelling soap for the pubic and ass area. There shouldn’t be a smell tho if you take regular showers throughout the week. If you do then it could be an infection. And ive been there, you just gotta get checked. You will know when your body is right and on check.

There’s several kinds of feminine washes you can use. I suggest using an all natural wash. The ones I use are from this business called Nene FemHealth. Her products are amazing and all natural and vegan!! Also, the washes help balance your pH so that you won’t smell bad.

But you can use a non scented soap to clean the “lips down there, the inner and outer. And make sure you really dry right, after.
It’s okay to get a feminine wash, it’s not going to point you out and make your mom think you’re having sex.

Genuinely just water works. I’d say if you really want a soap then use femfresh, it’s really good but only use it 2-3 times a week. Vaginas are smarter than you think

sorry lol i don’t wanna be that person but *vagina and also just get some feminine wash, it’s not suspicious at all if you want your vag to be clean. i started getting it when i was 13 because i didn’t wanna be fishy at school.
