Went to the gym today!!!

Sooo I’ve been wanting to get back into working out for a while so I joined a gym. Working out at home just wasn’t working out and running or stuff like that isn’t my cup of tea.

I began going in order to gain muscle back after losing a lot of weight in such little time. I was 178 and within three or four months I went down to 155... that’s such a drastic change I know. A lot of things were happening in my life, transitions I wasn’t taking well and other factors. As if about a month or so I began therapy again and my life seems to be more calm and collected.

I’ve begun eating again, I hadn’t realized I stopped eating or how disgusted I was by the thought of it until I’d be out with friends and it’s get to people asking where we should eat and what I would eat.

As I notice my appetite return I noticed a weight gain? Or at least I thought so. I went to the gym and I weighed myself before my work out. Last time I weight myself was exactly four weeks ago. I was 155. Today I discovered I am now 151.

I’ve always wanted to lose a bit of weight bc I’ve always been over weight for my height (5’2) and age (19) but as I lost all this weight I felt like I was losing myself. My body. The parts of me that made me, well me. My arms are so much thinner, my thighs and calf’s as well. My butt is barely there anymore. I’m really hoping if I continue the gym and weight training as well as eating more I’ll gain wait or at least time my body and gain more muscle back.

I’d like some tips for healthy weight gain as well as good work outs to do to gain muscle at the gym . Thank you!
