My weight loss journey so far..
So I guess I'll start back in June when I lost my baby to a miscarriage. It was hard but I'm working through it. I weighed 240 when I found out I was pregnant and slowly lost a few lbs through the course of the pregnancy. It worried me but the dr ignored me said "oh it's fine its normal" well it wasnt that normal and the least she could've done was do an ultrasound to check the baby but she didnt and I ended up losing her a week later. But this isnt what this post is about.
Anyway after that day I went off caffeine started drinking mostly water and the occasional Gatorade to help with my electrolytes. I built my strength back up from all the blood loss and was even thinking maybe I'd lose a few more lbs since I'm drinking more healthy. But I didnt. I just gained those lbs back and was still remaining at 240 so let's move to the beginning of December.
I decided to take charge of my life and weight and lose some so I can be more active in my 2 boys lives (7 and 4) and also my new dr said it could help to conceive again. (Weve been trying for 2 years now for our 3rd but lost her so now were still trying for our 4th) well I dont have many people in my life who really supports/uplifts me. I do have my husband and I even have my sister and dads girlfriend who have been amazing through my weight loss journey but I thought I'd post it here and ask for a few words of encouragement.
Anyway I started dec 8th with a different plan and I'm so proud to say im down to 226!! I'm down 14 lbs since I started 1 month ago!! I'm not sure if I can see a difference yet personally but I know what the scale is telling me. Now I know that's still a high number and I'm working at it one day at a time! I have 76 more lbs to go to reach my goal weight and I encourage all of you ladies who also want to lose weight to go for it!! You can do it I believe in you!!
