Hello, I just found out this morning that I am pregnant. My boyfriend and I have been together a year and a half. Hes very excited and I'm excited but also freaking scared.

I'm 20 years old and my boyfriend is 21 years old. We both have stable jobs and live in an apartment together. We talked and we both agreed to raise this child but heres some of my issues that hopefully I could get some advice for

I'm calling tomorrow to schedule a doctor's appointment for myself, my insurance is under my parents and I dont plan to tell them just yet. I also am unsure of what steps I need to take now that I have found out I'm pregnant, I'm sure that the doctor will help me out.

The reason I dont want to tell my parents is because i dont want to excite my mother. Shes been wanting grandkids and has been talking about them for a while. However, in my family there is a lot of history of miscarriages. I dont want to not get past my first trimester and have to tell her I lost her grandbaby. It scares me that there is that history. I just need some advice. Obviously this will be my first.
