baby crying in sleep ?

my son will be 7 months in 2 days !! he was crying in his sleep he does it some nights other nights he will sleep through the night do babies have bad dreams ? is it normal for them to cry in their sleep i feel so bad !! he doesn’t have a fever and he’s playful still ??? someone help

I don’t know if this goes for 7 month old babies. But my 1 month old will whine a little and make a face and go back to sleeping. When they’re little, sometimes it’s their body’s way of  getting them into REM sleep. Again, I don’t know if this goes for 7 month old babies.
