Hello everyone!

So I’ll try to make this short and simple. Everyone in my family (my moms side) has kids except me (22) and my youngest cousin (19). So my Sister and one of Cousins were pregnant at the same time. My sisters son was born in November, and my cousin is due next month (my cousin just turned 23, I’ll be 23 in May). Every time I even talk about kids my grandmother always tells me, “You need to wait a few years so I can enjoy your kids on their own. Everyone is having them too close together.” She actually said this to me at our Thanksgiving dinner in front of everyone.

I am married and will be celebrating my 2nd anniversary with my husband in June. I’m in college to become a Pharmacy Technician I’ll be graduating in May. Our home is paid for. She’s always been supportive of everyone when they announced, but when I’m late for 12 days and I tell her that I might be pregnant all she says is, “Uh oh!” Like what? I’ve been TTC and it just really hurts my feelings and makes my husband SO mad! We have two dogs we love unconditionally, but having a baby would just make our hearts so much fuller. 🥺😭

What would you suggest I do? I wanna say something to her, but I know if I do I’ll get really emotional about it. Please help this has been going on for a while now. Thanks everyone.
