Yoga?

Question

Have any of you ladies tried yoga during your pregnancy? I'm am by no means fit. Do you have any yoga DVDs on Netflix or Amazon or recommend. And if you've taken a class, how did that go?

Thanks ladies. I'm really limited on the types of classes near me and I don't think there's anywhere near me that does a larger body yoga class. But, they do a prenatal yoga and after hearing this I think I would still be pretty comfortable doing the prenatal classes.

I've taken prenatal yoga classes and loved them I won go every 2 weeks. I want to go back for these last few weeks left but if I can't get to class I will do one from YouTube or buy a DVD.

I've been trying to do it 5 days a week along with an aerobics/strength video. Sooooo relaxing!

I've been using 20 - 30 min videos off YouTube. We have the Apple TV so I'm able to do the AirPlay from my iPad to the tv screen...it's been great! I LOVE that they're all free...total plus :)

I was considering trying yoga this pregnancy. There is a studio near me that is focused on fit pregnancies and yoga but I was wonder how crazy I would look and if I would be able to even do it! I'm not the most coordinated even when i don't have an extra large belly!

I haven't done it through a pregnancy yet but I have been doing it for awhile,  I looked up and yoga classes for larger bodies.  It was a great safe space for me because I was less involved with thinking about how my body looked while trying to do these poses with women half my size and it was a great place to learn yoga becuase they were very open to changing and altering poses so they were comfortable to everyone in the room.  Plus was just a great positive atmosphere.  Hope that helps :)
