Getting her out of our bed TIPS PLEASE
My daughter won’t sleep in her bassinet. The crib is too big for the room. She’s 3 months and it’s really effecting my sleep. She clings onto my like chewing gum. It so uncomfortable for me to sleep. My husband will try to detach her and she cries. She wakes up whenever I move, getting up to use the restroom is a hassle. She can’t sleep in the room without me being in bed with her.
I never wanted her to cosleep. When she was about a month old, my husband and I started taking turns watching her at night, he was too lazy to actually watch her and he always allowed her to sleep in our bed (she’s slept throughout the night when she’s in our bed).
I tried sleeping on her bassinet covers to have my scent on them but it doesn’t work. I tried crying it out, once she started to cry for over 15 mins I can’t take the crying. I’m desperate at this point. Now, I wait until she’s deeply out like around 1am and slowly move her to the bassinet, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t and we start back at square one, sometime I’m too tired to get out of bed to move her. We usually start 8pm and she’ll be sleeping by midnight. I start work soon and I need to sleep help please
