Has anyone experienced bleeding at 35 weeks? Please help

I’m 35+5 . I had sex with my husband tonight and afterwards went to the bathroom to pee and when I wipe there’s a bunch of pink blood. I called the Er they told me to put a pad on and wait to see if I fill a pad with blood. I’m scared and my stomach is tightening . Some crampy pains too. She said sometimes this happens after intercourse but still terrified. Does anyone have any experience with this

It’s very common to bleed after sex in pregnancy. This is because your cervix is very sensitive as it has a lot more blood flow to that area during pregnancy. It is very easy to rupture a blood vessel, which is likely what you did. If you don’t see red and you don’t fill a pad within an hour, you’re pretty safe. However be gentle when you have sex going forward as to not irritate your cervix. Ask your doctor if s/he thinks it’s safe to continue sex especially the further along you get as sometimes (especially if your man is well endowed) sex can be too rough and can cause irritation to the point of early onset labor.

I’d monitor it for an hourish and see if you keep bleeding. Unless the cramps are really hurting you, then definitely go in.
