Happy birthday to my best friend

This man right here works his ass off to save for the future we want together. He is physically mentally and emotionally there for me, supportive of everything I do or want to do, always has my back, never lets me fall asleep sad angry hurt or upset, lifts me up and reminds me that I am worthy of love. He treats my daughter and my mother like they’re his own, and loves his own mother more than anything in the world. He is selfless, hard working, smart, funny, attentive, loving, and more than I could have ever asked for.

He has always wanted to learn how to play the piano, around Christmas time we saw a display with a bunch of teaching pianos and it reignited his desire to learn. He has a dream of being able to walk into a place with a piano looking totally unassuming in his signature zip up hoodie and backwards hat, sit down at the piano, and bang out a classical masterpiece. We can’t afford a giant piano obviously, but this one has teaching software and programming to light the keys up to show you how to play. The smile on his face when he pulled it out of the box was everything.

Happy birthday to the love of my life. I know you can do anything you set your heart to. Maybe you will play the piano at our future wedding!
