Does it count as AF??

So my period ended 12/23, and husband & I BD on Christmas eve & the day after Christmas. On the 1st, I started having very light spotting and light cramping. My period was supposed to start the 8th, which it (kinda) did. I had just that day of light bleeding, enough to fill a pad. But since then, it’s been very light spotting off & on (mostly just at night & then nothing at all during the day). Does it count as AF still? Or what? I have a doctors appointment on the 22nd with an OB/GYN. Thanks in advance!!
