😮😮 OPK use as pregnancy test?!

I was told that you can use your ovulation test sticks as a PREGNANT test!! How true is this??
** CAN YOU USE A ovulation test FOR A CONFIRMED pregnancy test?! 
What’s your thoughts on this ladies?

It's not true.
You can get a positive lh if you're pregnant AND if you're about to get your period. So it doesnt tell you anything.

An OPK can come back positive if enough HCG is present, BUT*** it is not a reliable indicator for pregnancy. You can get a surge before your period. Personally, I had a blazing positive OPK and I’m pregnant. But as I said, this is not every case and an OPK should NOT be used to confirm pregnancy. 
This was my OPK, but I had found out I am expecting about a week before I took this.

My opk was BLAZING when i had a faint line on a pregnancy test, and can confirm im just shy of 8 weeks now. Opks were never positive close to my period just a faint line.

I’m 15 DPO, so I took a pregnancy test strip this morning and got a BPN!! But then I took a OVULATION test strip got a  positive￼ and a blinking smile face, I was confused!!
