When did purple cry end for your LO

LO is almost 8 weeks old and this purple cry stage is kicking our butts. Constant crying in the afternoons and evenings for long periods of time. 
When did purple cry end for your little one? Any tips for struggling parents during this phase?

My baby stopped at three months. It was awful!!!! So I am praying for you. My baby would be semi content for a little in a baby carrier or being walked around. But honestly there isn’t much that helps this.

Mine still does it once a day or once every two days. She's 4 months old

Around 3.5 months for us.

Our hospital made us watch a video on it and it said around 3 months and that 6-8 weeks was the peak so it should start decreasing from here for you!

Also it does get better! And one day baby will randomly stop and you will get your lice back. My baby cried EVERY SINGLE night from 8 Pm until midnight. And now she’s such a good baby. Barley cries and is so happy.

Have you tried maybe a bath ? Maybe the water sound of the faucet will distract her sound and sensory distraction just an idea

Around 3 months/12 weeks. Now she’s six months and cries very little— maybe 10 minutes per day, a little more if she’s resisting her naps. It gets better!!

I shocked my little girl out of purple crying last night by giving her some gripe water. She was so surprised that she suddenly needed to swallow that she never went back to crying. I doubt tricks like that will always (or even most of the time) work, but it doesn’t hurt to try.
