Can anyone help me?

So basically I’ve started onto the mini pill a couple months ago and haven’t had many issues with it. I’ve been on birth control before and have been able to predict my periods but on this one I can’t it’s so random and spontaneous at different times throughout the month. Anyways, my boyfriend and I have had sex a few times but the 2 times he didn’t pull were the two times I had forgot and had taken the pill 2 hours late the night before. I automatically was looking for any changes since I can’t predict my periods on this new pill. It’s been about 2 weeks since the last time that he didn’t pull and I decided to take a home test just to check anyways to be sure. When I took it it said negative but I’ve seen some people say that they’ve left it for a while and came back and it was positive. I left mine overnight for about 12 hours and looked at it and it looks like there’s a vvfl now but my boyfriend said it looks like the line he has seen on all of them. I don’t see any indents nor did I before I had taken this test since I always check. Could it possibly be valid? I don’t want to take my last test too early and how long should I wait before trying to retest to get a certain answer? In person you can see where there’s a pink tint to the line it’s just the lighting in my bathroom is horrible. If anyone has any advice it’d be great!!
