Are there travel systems with convertible car seats?

I'm looking to buy the travel system with a car seat the grows with my kid. It seems I can only get the one with strollers and car seats for new borns up to 30-50 pounds. Am I just doing the wrong search?

Convertible car seats do not get removed from the car so you wouldn’t be able to move them to a stroller without taking them out of the car seat!

The key fit 2 comes with one travel system! It’s what I got. Search Chicco Bravo Primo Trio at Buybuybaby. The Key fit 2 is good up to 50lbs. It is a few lbs heavier than other car seats but we are expecting a big baby and didn’t want him to outgrow his infant seat before we were ready.

For newborns I recommend an infant seat. I love that I can just take the whole seat out and carry it around when I go out rather than have to remove the baby and put them in a stroller or carrier. When my son grew out of his infant seat we switched him to the Graco4ever convertible seat which I highly recommend.

I think the newer chicco fit 2 allows your baby to fit in it longer than a traditional infant car seat, but i don’t think it comes with a travel system.

Good question, I don’t think they exist. The stroller grows with the child but the car seat doesn’t. We went from the carrier (with the travel system) to a convertible that goes all the way up to backless booster. And of course we still use the stroller.
