How to pick a nursery glider/rocker?

It seems as though Buy Buy Baby, and most stores don’t hold all of the chairs in store? Only sold online. Am I the only who who refuses to buy furniture online without sitting on it first??? 
Some chairs are literally hard as a rock!!! I am so frustrated. Any tips ladies ?

Dont shop at baby stores. Go to a funriture store and buy one there instead. Same thing, cheaper, amd better quality. We bought a very nice, real wood glider at a local furniture store for $80. Its 10 years old and still like new. Hell, it was being sold as a "grandma's chair."

I am the same as you. Got mine at Living Spaces, was able to sit in a bunch before deciding ☺️

We ended up getting ours at Nebraska Furniture Mart- as well as the nursery furniture. I was the same way- I cannot imagine buying any furniture without seeing or touching it at least- so a furniture store is a great option.

Crate and Barrel Kids has some nice ones that you can sit and try out.

I'm with you.  I plan on going to an actual furniture store, like La-Z-Boy or Ashley.
