Switching hospitals

Rebecca

I'm 11w 1d and I'm really contemplating switching hospitals. This is going to be a long post sorry but thank you for reading it.

I've had a negative experience with this hospital pretty much all around. I first had an appointment to confirm my pregnancy/do a bunch of paperwork with a nurse she never actually tested to see if I was pregnant and talk to me and my husband like we were idiots who didn't know what we were doing (we have a 15 month old so we understand how the whole pregnancy thing works). Then we had an ultrasound a few weeks later I was told that itd be vaginal so we could see more details and heart the heartbeat because I was only 6 weeks pregnant at this point but when we got there the tech told us itd be an abdominal ultrasound she looked around for maybe 5 minutes takes one photo of the baby and then says we're done. I got an email shortly after that said she couldn't find everything they needed (images of my bladder and left ovary) on the ultrasound. Then a few day ago I messaged my doctor because I've been having terrible headaches and a nurse messaged me asking me why I'm getting these headaches and told me to take ibuprofen and antihistamines. You aren't supposed to talk ibuprofen while pregnant and antihistamines are safe but I'm still breastfeeding and they can kill your milk supply. I've met the doctor once and she seemed fine but everything else about this hospital is rubbing me the wrong way.

Do you think I'm just being dramatic or are these acceptable reasons to switch?

Have you ever switched hospitals during your pregnancy? What was your experience if you did so?

Thanks again
