TTC BY tubal ligation

So i have a some questions because im quite confused. I went to my doctors office because me and hubby are trying to concieve. I told my doctor its very painful when we have sex and that i have endometriosis. So she checks me and she notices some blue on my cervix, she also notice that when she touched the blue it bled alittle. So she said you might have some scar tissue on your cervix but she wasnt sure yet. She also wanted to look into my tubes and everything. So she told me im going to get you a tubal ligation so that i can look into your tubes to check if they are blocked. And do a laparoscopy. I didnt know what a tubal ligation was so i said okay. I trust my dpctor she helped me concieve my first child 8 years ago. So later on the hospital that she will be performing the procedure called and confirmed the surgery. I being the informative virgo that i am, decided i wanted to look up how to prepare for tubal ligation. And thats when i found out it was another way of saying getting your tubes tied. So im thinking hold on, she know im trying to concieve so why would she schedule me for that. Is it just to look into my tubes or what im so confused. So im planning on going to see her in a week to get a better understanding of things. Because i dont want to lay down thinking im getting help to better our chances of concieveing and wake up with no way of concieveing.

Have anybody ever went through a tubal ligation to try to concieve. Im still trying to figure out why she would shedule this for me when she know we are TTC.
