Loud music can you call cops?

So it’s 1:00am and someone close to my house is playing their Spanish music sooooo damn loud I’m usually not a Debbie downer but it’s 1:00am and I have a baby who has been having a hard time falling asleep! Can I call and complaint to the cops? It’s so loud my 3 year old is waking up crying and it’s vibrating my front door.

You can but they have more serious things to deal with, I have done this and they never even showed up at my neighbors house.

I’m not sure why it matters that it’s Spanish music... but yes, you can call the police for a noise disturbance.

As long as it's after noise curfew which I'm sure at 1am it is you can call. But don't call 911, look up the nonemergency number and honestly don't expect them to come quickly or possibly even at all. When I lived in my last apartment we invested in an Alexa so that we could play sounds to drown out the noise while trying to sleep. Inconsiderate people are the worst!

Where we are anytime after 11 is shut it down time unless it's the weekend. If they don't turn everything off you can definitely call the police after 11pm.
