Advice !!

Me and my boyfriend have been together for 11 months now, we just recently broke up and we both had sex with other people. I forgave him because we weren’t together at that time. When I told him I had sex with someone else he flipped. He said he can’t get past this and it’s not gonna work out and he never wants to be with me again. But I’m trying to tell him that it’s not fair because he did the same exact thing I did and I forgave him so easily but he couldn’t do the same for me. It’s a lot more to the story but it’s too much to type. Basically now he is feeling weird about getting back together because he doesn’t trust me and he feels betrayed but that’s how I feel too but I still want to be with him because I love him and I think we can work it out. I don’t know how I can get him to trust me again and feel comfortable in our relationship.
