Mommas boy much? Help!

So me and my boyfriend have been together for a few years now. We have a 9 month old baby. I have tooken in so much and I have asked him to change. He has changed a bit but he still acts like a child and he’s about to be 30. Anyways, everytime I ask him something that we must decide for our child, he says. I don’t know, talk to my mom. Or ask my mom. Like WTF? I cussed him out today because his mom isn’t my man nor she is my child father so I don’t need to be asking her shit! Am I wrong for being so sick and tired of this and annoyed? I’m about to tell him I’m breaking up w him and he need to use the time to grow up. Please, give me opinions!! Help!

Not to be rude or mean, but you ever think maybe he's just insecure off himself as a father. Try talking to him about it calmly. He trusts his mom enough to put those decisions in her hands, and sometimes that's a good thing. Yes, he needs to make decisions himself, but I'm getting the feeling he's scared to. So, talk to him. He's not gonna change overnight, but if you tell him how upset it makes you without screaming at him, he may just open up and tell you why he keeps doing that. Communication is key in any relationship, but it's especially important between parents

I’ve always stayed away from momma’s boys. Not worth my sanity to deal with a man who’s still attached to the boob. 
Hopefully he grows up and can make a decision with you, and not have to consult his mom all the time. 
Helpful advice here and there is fine, but if he can’t make any decisions without her then that’s a problem

I don’t see the reason for a break up but fasho he needs to know you won’t be discussing child rearing with his mother. Every time he says to ask his Mom I’d call him a mommas boy and tell him he should go talk to his mommy if he wants her opinion because I sure as hell don’t.

When I’m unsure I defer answers. Talk about parenting and expectations and being scared is ok too. Many first time parents are. 
It’s not right to cuss someone out. If you are unhappy have a calm conversation. Cussing gets you no where. You are in the wrong.
