Long story short my moms a drug addict with a FILTHY house full of animals and has a homeless man living there. My little sister is 15 obviously lives with my mom she rarely eats, showers, or has clean clothes she goes around friends houses to shower or eat (my moms water has been off for 5 months already) my mom feeds herself and her hobo boyfriend in front of my sis and won’t feed her... :/ we barely moved out of my husbands family’s house 3 weeks ago and got our own house. Since the day I got my own house my sisters been here cause I FINALLY have room to care for her. (She would come over to my husbands family house a lot of weekends but couldn’t live there) My moms going crazy wanting my sister back, (she’s not even in school) I wanted my mom to have something notarized so I can legally deal with my sisters school stuff (sign her up for school, take her and go to conferences etc.) she said maybe at first and now she’s going crazy wanting my sister home to rot.... She’s had CPS called 3 times and somehow weasles her way out of it, my little sister lies for her because my mom scares her into lying. My little sister told me she doesn’t wanna go home and she wishes she never lied to CPS... how can I go about fighting for custody????? If CPS is called again, will she be put into the system or can I take custody of her? My husband and I are 25 with 2 babies been married 5 years and I’m a SAHM, he has a great career and makes good money. My little sister hasn’t seen a dentist, or doctor in 8 years !! :(((((( I just found that out.
