My tiny mighty warrior

Savannah

My original due date was Feb 29th, 2020 but my daughter was born Jan. 9th, 2020 32weeks and 5days. I found out she has little to no blood flow from my placenta to her. I was admitted to the hospital the 7th of Jan. Only to spend the next 48 hours on fluids and magnesium due to the fact she was severe IUGR, she had little amniotic fluid around her and I also had developed preeclampsia. The morning of the 9th i was told they planned on delivering her vaginally or c section depending on how she could take the labor. Later that day, they inserted a catheter and a 4cm balloon into my cervix. Within the next hour my angel went into distress. The doctors came in and said they wanted to take me for immediate c section, thank god they did because I was told she had the embilical cord wrapped around her neck twice and wouldn't have lasted thru vaginal labor. She is now 4 days old and doesn't need a cpap machine or a tube down her throat. I was warned that she may be very under developed but the only problems we are facing in low birth weight, not being able to eat and breathe at the same time her own and not being able to keep her body heat in. Don't get me wrong Im happy she is alive and doing great but today i got discharged and it was the hardest time for me being a first time mommy and not knowing what to do but be there, show support and wait for God to heal my little girl. Plesse give me kind words of encouragement and keep my Jellybean in your prayers. Thank you and God Bless!
