Positive Copper IUD Experience(s) / Tips?

Hi There!
With the plethora of information out there about copper IUDs, do you have any helpful advice or suggestions you’d like to share about having a copper IUD? 
Just had one inserted today and would appreciate the knowledge of those who have made the same decision!

I LOVE it so much! I don’t know a woman personally who has one and doesn’t like it. I asked like everyone I could find when I was considering getting one. So glad I did, not having to deal with hormonal bc is fantastic!

I have had mine for 8 years now.  Love it.  Zero pregnancies.  I still have a normal period and pretty much even forget I have it.  Only time it was an issue was during the time I started having intercourse with my current significant other and he felt the strings, which caused a little extra friction on his junk.  So I went to the OB/GYN and got them cut a little shorter.  Other than that, back to normal.  I also had the copper IUD in between my first and second child.  Took about a month for my system to be fertile again and then boom, pregnant with my second.  I plan on getting it taken out soon for a third child, so updated coming soon lol.  👍
