Is this my period or ...

So I just started taking bc pills this is my first time on them I’m not suppose to start my period for another week 10 days to be exact but I started yesterday the blood is super light this is day 2 of my period the blood looks more brownish color it looks like old blood and it’s a super light flow it feels like a last day of period type of flow is this even my period ?? or is this just random spotting? Help me understand this !
