Baby holding their own Bottle

Little one is almost 11months old and still will not hold her own bottle to feed herself. She can hold the bottle but when she does she just plays with it or chews on the nipple. I always have to feed it to her. Development wise she is right on track but my friend brought it up to me.. Should I talk with the doctor about this?
