Mirena IUD

I went to the doctor today to get on birth control pills but she talked me into getting the Mirena IUD (it had to be ordered so I won’t actually have it put in until 2-3 weeks) but she said her and her daughter have it which really made me want it. She went over everything I needed to know and I was still on board for it! So now I’m just curious, what are your opinions on it? I know it’s different for everyone but I’d just like to hear it from other people like me!
