Antidepressants + Orgasms ??

I take heavy doses antidepressants but I cannot cum during sex. The sex with my bf isn’t bad but I can’t get myself to cum and he’s trying so hard for me (so much foreplay etc.) and I feel inadequate and frustrated that I can’t cum. I want to feel good too. Any tips?? Pls SOS

Unfortunately antidepressants can hit your libido pretty hard, which might explain the problem with orgasming. I’d give it a few weeks but if it doesn’t get better, I’d tell your doc dinner than later so you can try a different med. everyone is different so if this pill doesn’t work for you another one will. And just tell your bf that it’s not him but it’s the meds and remind him that before you were on these meds it wasn’t a problem.

I lost my sex drive for weeks when I started antidepressants because I started on such a high dose. I was patient with my body because I knew everything was a bit haywire and I felt a lot better about 2 months later and was able to relax enough to cum

I have a few friends on antidepressants and they have the same thing happening. It’s just a side effect sadly

Ask your doctor for another kind of antidepressant. Same happened to me
