Tips for RSV?

Question

Any tips for getting through RSV? Both my 3 year old and 7 month old have it. Really looking for non-medicine tricks for congestion and cough if any exist. I do give them medicine but my 7 month old gets so worked up about me putting medicine in his mouth that he vomits it back up. We have humidifiers and we do the hot shower/steam thing. Anything else?

Try giving your kids a little chocolate syurp before offering the medicine. The chocolate coats the tounge and they cant taste the medicine as well. You could also try mixing it into yougurt, or applesauce

The steam from the shower is basically it. Rsv is a respiratory problem and there really isnt any non medical things thatll help that. Rsv can get really nasty, they basically have to work it out of their systems. Personally my son always needs steroids he was hospitalized the first time he had it for a week
