How much should my 8 month old eat?

My 8 month old is breast fed but also eats purées. How many ounces should she eat a day?

Feed her until she's full! Just offer bites/spoonfuls until she starts turning away or getting too distracted. Mine eats a lot, she has three solid meals a day of about 6-8 oz, but every baby is different, so take your cues from how she responds.

I was told by our pediatrician that “food before one is just for fun”. Babies primary food source is still formula/breast milk. Continue to introduce all foods though.
