Thought I’d share this with this group since we will be having 3 year olds next month.

I was grocery shopping today and at the checkout line my daughter was picking out candy (that she thinks she’s buying but not actually) and the woman behind me says “oh she’s so cute, how old?”

I said “she’ll be 3 next month”

Without skipping a beat she says “oh 3’s the worst! Good luck”

I’ve heard this before (threenager) but for some reason I couldn’t get it out of my head that 3 would be worse than the terrible 2’s, but now that I’m really thinking about it... ugh we are in for it! Our kids now know what they’re doing is wrong but lack the control to stop themselves and don’t even get me started on the impulse control (or lack there of). They say NO about 100 times a day and they know what it means now. Basically they are too smart for their own good and just bless all of us!
