would YOU be offended!?

I’m currently eight weeks pregnant and I’m also 22 years old almost 23, and I don’t know if I’m overreacting about this or if I’m being in my right mind to be upset over this… So my mom went back and told one of my family friends of my dad’s ( my dad is no longer living ) that I am currently pregnant and all. And his answer was “Oh they don’t believe in condoms or something ?” and my mom told me this today! Instead of my mom defending me she said nothing back. Me and my fiancé were trying for two and half years! And we’re also on our OWN and support ourselves. This comment made me HEATED bc he made it seem like an accident and my mom didn’t even tell him oh it wasn’t an accident they were trying. I asked her why she said she don’t wanna tell him our business. Yet she basically did now he put me out to be some little ass whore. I am really offended and my mom says there’s nothing to be mad about 🙄 My moms answer is oh he’s old fashioned which is not an excuse bc in the olden days they still had babies. How would you feel? I’m wondering if my mom made it seem like an accident now. It’s not like i’m living under someone’s roof. This guy is also in his 40’s. Not super old.
