Anyone have craving of chalk?

I am 32weeks pregnant and I have extreme craving of chalk don't know what to do I think it's weird so can't talk about it with my husband or doctor.
Is it bad for the baby? Eating chalk?

There's nothing weird about it, it's actually one of the more common non-food cravings during pregnancy. Talk to your doctor about it because it can indicate a deficiency like iron or zinc.

Oh my god this is gonna sound so weird but I crave like the feeling of dirt like I don’t really want to eat it but I almost do like I want the texture and I also get like intoxicated by the smell of like gasoline when I pump gas and now that you said chalk I want to feel like that crunch 🤷🏼‍♀️￼

As the other ladies explained it is a sign of iron deficiency and your Dr will probably just have to buy OTC iron pills. 
Also, chalk will not hurt you or baby if you injest it. It's calcium carbonate and non toxic. However, large quantities can cause tummy trouble. Plus you could inhale particles which could cause inflammation and mild breathing issues. 
So, it's not recommend to eat chalk, it won't kill you, but it probably doesn't taste very well and I imagine you'd need a chaser to choke it down 😝
