Mixed Boy Names?

Question

I am caucasian and my husband is african american. We are expecting our first baby (BOY!) in June. We are struggling choosing a name that fits both ethnicities well. We are open to all suggestions. The only names we don't want are Brayden, Rayden, Jayden, Hayden... etc. Basically all of the over used names. Can anyone help???

Your basically asking for a name that sounds black... that doesn’t exist as it’s just stereotypical names and responses you’re going to get which is quite ridiculous and offensive. Unless your seeking traditional African names, you can go with any name and it will suit a ‘mixed’ baby just fine

Hi ! I have a biracial daughter & honestly put race aside ! Just chose a name you both. Is there family names you like ? We mashed his mom & my moms name to make my daughters middle name(mialynn). How about a jr and dont stress the name? Honestly he will fit the name you chose so it doesnt matter as long as YOU love it.

I love the name James. There are many names that both black and white people are named together without being too common or one sided. My husband is black and we’ve had a few thoughts about these names.

Isaiah
Israel
Graham
Gabriel
Can’t think of any more right now but our current boy is named Judah. 
We have neighbors that are biracial as well and the boys names are Aaron and Jordan

You are basically asking for a name that doesn’t sound “too black” (which is offensive/insensitive) or “too white.” 
If you said he has Kenyan heritage and I’m Italian so we are looking for names that work in both cultures (insert any heritage), okay. Otherwise 😬

I know a few people who have sons named Jaxyn. One is African and one is Caucasian.   I also know a little boy whose Mexican and African and his name is Jayce. Not sure if that helps you at all? But just pick a name you both love. Who cares what everyone else thinks.. it’s your baby ❤️

I feel like she is asking for names that will be appropriate! Being a parent of Biracial children I always get comments from family his name too “black” her name is to “white”! Yes, we chose but at the same time we want opinions!

We named our son after my maiden last name, just spelled differently : Korbyn
