Headaches with IUD?

Does anyone have any advice about IUD side effects? I have the skyla and have been getting dull headaches for at least 2 months (it was placed on Halloween). I know it takes time for the body to adjust to any medication, especially hormones so I have been trying to give it some time. But how long should I wait before I call it quits? My friend said she was told she needed to keep her paragard in for 6 months before her system balanced out. (Which sounds weird to me because there’s no hormones with that one.... but I’m not a doctor)

Anyways... should I try to suck it up for a little while longer? Or do you think 3 months is long enough?
