Potty training????

River just turned 1. I know that's too early lol but when is a good age to start? I have an 8 year old and I cant for the life of me remember when I started with him 😂 I remember it being really stressful but idk if it was because I started too early or too late! Lol mom brain. Anyone have a plan???

Around 2 is a good age. We used the “oh crap” book/method and it worked great—now, at 3.5, our daughter rarely has accidents and can get up at night and go pee by herself if she needs to. It was a decent amount of work but really worth it.

Tried around 2 with my 3 year old and she refused.  Waited til closer to 3 and she got it real quick!  It’s all about when he is ready!  And don’t worry it’s still as stressful as you remember haha

I started at 7 months with mine 🤷🏽‍♀️ she’s close but not there yet.. we’re working on her communicating with me when she needs to go. So far she’ll sit on the potty but I have to have a schedule of when to put her on it.
