Dr scheduled an induction I didn't ask for😰
I had a dr appoint yesterday at 40+1 wks. I was only 1cm and cervix was so far up she could barely reach it. I had an u/s and they said my amniotic fluid is a little bit low, but not by a bunch and to come back Wednesday (tomorrow) to for another u/s and to talk about our options.
I got a call today from the nurse saying that she has me scheduled for an induction on Monday. They didn't ask, they just told me. I feel a little "steam-rolled", shouldn't they have mentioned that to me yesterday??? Or waiting until tomorrow after they talked me about it. I'm already super emotional, my dad is out of town and if I'm induced on Monday he will not be able to see the baby until that weekend. I'm dreading this "impending doom" in my head and trying my hardest not to think about which way I want to feel pain and what bad could happen from all of it. I'm very frustrated and I wish I could just go into labor right now so that it wouldn't even be an issue! At this point I'm 40+2 and each day is harder and harder to get through.
