Transitioning to panties tips ?

Im not sure what to do maybe she'll wear a pullup forever lol jk. Shes 2 she tells me when she has to go pee/poo. So I'll rush her to the bathroom or she'll run there herself. But when I try to get her to wear panties she'll go squat in a corner. Yesterday she peed in front of the fan and it splashed all over her 10mth old sister

Maybe she's not comfortable wearing the underwear yet. I wouldn't push it though. My son wasn't ready to wear regular underwear till he was almost 3 1/2-4 we started potty training at 2yo and was full trained by 3yo but he didn't feel comfortable in regular underwear so I just let him wear the pull ups, then when we were almost done the package we told him we were going to buy him some underwear that he could pick and he was going to start wearing that. He now wears underwear to bed and during the day and he's 6. He's had a couple accidents in the last 2 months but only 3 or so and we just think that was cuz his sister was born 2 weeks ago and things were changing.

Have you tried letting her pick out some really cool character kind or color..etc I just kind of let me girls pick out what they thought was cool and tell her how that's what big girls do and etc
