Growing out hair advice
Okay so I have bright red hair. 100% virgin hair, never dyed it or done anything besides cut it. Anyway, I have this plan to grow it out until after my vow renewal on August 1st and then I want to cut it to my shoulders and donate as much as I can because I never have and I've always wanted to. Right now my hair goes right below my bra strap and I want to get it around my lower back so that I can donate at least 10 inches.
Here's my problem though. I don't do anything harmful to my hair but I also don't use the best products for it. I've used Head & Shoulders for the last 5 years and I didn't even know conditioner was a thing until I was 17 and I'm almost 24 😅 so I do very bare minimum to take care of it. I wash it twice a week and throw it in a ponytail or bun 95% of the time...because mom life 💁
My plan so far is to get frequent trims and take daily biotin and use a more moisturizing shampoo and only use my dandruff shampoo every 3 or 4 washes and to do a few hair masks in a month and to continue using less heat on my hair. That being said, I need recommendations on:
-Cheap hair masks
-Any other hair growth and strengthening tips because I know nothing
-a good place to donate my hair
Thanks in advance! Here's pictures of the mane just because it's probably my best feature 😅
