I have a almost 7 year old in the 1st grade and I also have a almost 2 month old on the 25th. Well my youngest last night had a rough night and kept us all up last night. He’s going through a leap and also having gas pains. We’re all running on 3-4 hrs of sleep. Putting him down was rough he usually falls asleep around 9pm or 10pm the latest and he usually sleeps for 4-5 hrs and he falls back to sleep another 2hrs after eating with no problem. Well last night he was fussy 10pm-12am and passing gas while eating or soothing at the boob for 5-10mins and back to crying in pain. He’s just now fully calming down and it’s 8am. My oldest woke up so exhausted he had deep bags under his eyes and he never wakes up like that. He told me he was tired and the baby kept him up. I understand. I told him he can stay home. Get some rest, he’s currently laying on the couch watching tv about to fall back to sleep. I’d hate for him to go to school tired and possibly irritated.
