Had a hysterectomy after stage 4 endometriosis
Hi guys, I’ve had 3 or more years to think about this and finally in November 2019 I had an operation ( full hysterectomy) everything is gone, womb, ovaries, tubs and cervix. I’m 34 years old but I couldn’t stand the pain and lack of iron anymore I had to just make the choice. I wanted 1 more child but I am blessed I have 2 children now aged 7&9... as much as I really wanted to have another child I know I am blessed with the 2 I have and docs said I am lucky when I had them as my endo is stage 4 and my womb was in a very bad state when they finally took it out. But my question to you guys is. Has anyone else had this done and still have endo pain? I know it’s been 9-10 weeks now so I’m still healing but I can’t help think I might have done this for nothing. Except I’m not so anaemic anymore? Anyone else had full hysterectomy age 30’S?? Thanks..
also I am now on hrt for the next 20+ years. Would love to hear from anyone else who has had this done. Thanks
