Success story for IVF( After Embryo Transfer)

I am 36 and I went through 2 cycles of IVF egg retrieval cycles back to back with different stim protocol and still only 1 egg made through Day 6 and PGT testing so only one chance for embryo transfer to be successful.

Dec 3rd was my embryo transfer I wore my own socks ankle length, I had my bladder pretty full. Once they transferred the embryo they took me to recovery room. I just got up and went to bathroom. So I did get up. Secondly once back from bathroom I rested for 20 min I’m recovery room and then my hubby drove back home which was 1 hour.

Once home I had good sleep I changed socks for bed and had seperate socks for roaming around house. ( please make sure atleast 5 days u were socks both morning and night). I rested enough but also walked around house. But did not do any household activities. Just eat walk sleep.

I had appt for progesterone and estrogen checkup on 7th day after my transfer and luckily seeing my harmone level they Beta tested too. Nurse called me in afternoon and said I am pregnant I was happy but also worried as early had natural miscarriage in 6 weeks so wanted to take it slowly.

Once I knew I was pregnant definetely did not bend and lift heavy weights( did not eat pineapple/ papaya, any food that heats the body from inside), walked 30 min as per doctors instructions. Now I am in my 10th week and my due date is Aug 20th. Keeping fingers crossed.

FYI: For progesterone Injections use synera patches it helps a lot...go to synera site they have information for insurance you pay very very less going this way. We also warm the injection before injecting.

Hope this helps. Please feel to ask me any questions happy to help as it’s patience restitance.

Thank you for sharing, this made me feel happy. Just did my FET today and I’m chilling on the couch- in socks! Will follow your advice on that. Good luck with your pregnancy ☺️

Thank you for your success story as mine was pretty much the same! So I have to agree with wearing socks! The only thing is mine were not PGS tested and there was no hb at my 6w 5d appt! Abnormal embryo. Btw, Congratulations on your miracle baby!! ❤️😊

I, too, am 36 and going through IVF. I had my transfer on 6/12 and on Estrace and progesterone injections. I’m excited that I’m actually going through this journey~ Will pray that we have a happy and healthy pregnancy and delivery~💖

Why do you wear socks? I keep seeing folks mention this...

To keep foot warm so uterus has good blood flow.

Hello:) Congrats!! I had a transfer around the same time. First cycle of IVF and first transfer. Also, only had one normal PSG tested embryo after retrieval. Unfortunately, my transfer failed. Starting from scratch next month. You mentioned this was your second round. Did your doctors do anything differently this round? Did you go for any additional tests after your first transfer? Thanks for sharing. Nice to hear that it can work the second time around 😊

I had retrieval 2 times but transfer was only once. With first retrieval I have perfect 1 embryo PGT tested. As I met insurance deductible doctor asked to bank few more and tried my stims differently and none got through day 5z
